LPS Earthing Systems

Our Products developed with pipe in strips technology & complies with IS 3043 (Code of Practice of earthing). Maintenance free LPS Earthing Electrrodes by utilizing metals alloys and natural chemical compositions, the Chemical Earthing Electrodes is able to provide a multifaceted proactive earthing protection strategy. The Earthing Electrode is manufactured from custom-made MS Tube to ensure maximum conductivity and prolonged service life. The Gel Earthing Electrodes contains conductor rich crystalline mixture that will protect the main earth electord in the soil. This will ensure a highly conductive state for the fault current to pass on the earth.

LPS Backfill Compound

Our Backfill Compound called as “Conductive Grounding Minerals” which will be used around the earth electrodes at the time of installation. Conductive grounding minerals is a combination of graphite, natural earth minerals etc. which is of hygroscopic property to retain the moisture for a long time. During installation with proper water pouring, the conductive grounding minerals will convert into the gel formation and its quality to retain the moisture up to twenty times its dry volume as well as it create a gel layer surrounding of our electrode our backfill compound is not solube in water moisture property up to the life of the electrode which is more then 25 years material is soil friendly conductive grounding minerals is a combination of totally corrosion free and highly conductive & non-corrosive minerals.

Importance of Earthing

Grounding or earthing is among canoms of safety. If the body of any electrical equipment or machinery is grounded it will pass the current to ground in case short circuit. If a person accidentally touch the body of that machinery which is connector to live wire he will not get electric shock because current is passing through grounding conductor and he has much tower resistance than human body. So resistance of grounding conductor as also a major factor in electric safety.

Purpose of Earthing

Safety for Human life / Building / Equipments :-

  To save human life from danger of electrical shock or death by blowing a fuse i.e. to provide an alternative path for the     fault current to flow so that it will not endanger the user.
  To protect buildings, machinery & appliances under fault conditions.
  To ensure that all exposed conductive parts do not reach a dangerous potential.
  To provide safe path to dissipate lightning and short circuit currents.
  To provide stable platform for operation of sensitive electronic equipments i.e. to maintain the voltage at any part of an     electrical system at a known value so as to prevent over current or excessive voltage on the applications or equipment.

Over Voltage Protection :-

  Lighting, line surges or unintentional contact with higher voltage lines can cause dangerously high voltages to the     electrical distribution system. Earthing provides an alternative path around the electrical system to minimize damages     the systems.

Voltage Stabilization :-

  There are may sources of electricity. Every transformer can be considered a separate source. If there were not a     common reference point for all these voltage sources it would be extremely difficult to calculate their relationship to     each other. The earth is the most omnipresent conductive surface, and so it was adopted in the very beginnings of     electrical distribution systems as a nearly universal standard for all electric systems.

LPS Chemical Earthing Traditional Method
LPS Chemical Earthing is maintenance free to long time. There are continue required maintenance.
LPS Earthing Electrode is not in direct contact with the soil. The earth electrode is in direct contact with soil.
There are one pipes & one strip inside the other i.e., pipe in strips technology. Technology One G.I / C.I Pipe of a particular diameter.
Absence of Corrosion. Liable to fast corrosion, subsequent decay of the earthing pipe / plate.
